Disclosure: This post- and stupendous giveaway- is written on behalf of the Heidi J. Hale Design Studio, but all thoughts, opinions, and Gollum-like grips on my new bling are entirely my own.

‘Round here, we’re halfway through a really exciting time. At least for me. The beginning of May is Mother’s Day and the beginning of June is my birthday. Somewhere in there is the ol’ anniversary. I truly, truly, ridiculously, enjoy all three of those holidays, if only for the fact that they remind me that it’s okay (and in fact, great) to celebrate, to take personal time, to do something kinda cool for myself (and/or the husband) without even the slightest vestige of guilt. (Okay, maybe there’s still a slight bit of guilt. I’m Catholic/half-Middle Eastern/a mother, after all. Major guilt-slinger trifecta.)
But coupled with the (slowly, slowly) burgeoning springtime weather, it really inspires (me) to do something marvelous (for only me).
Partnering with the Heidi J. Hale Design Studio couldn’t have come at a cooler time.
Heidi, a former stay-at-home mother in Muncie, IN, made and sold individual pieces of crave-worthy jewelry which she marketed on Pinterest and Facebook. As demand grew, so did supply; in the form of a brick n’ mortar studio where a dozen artists make each piece by hand (and never pre-fab them). So when you get your item, it’s wholly yours; an individual piece of beauty created solely from precious metals and natural gemstone, just for you, by an artisan.
I was invited to choose a piece of my fancy, and my no-brainer was this:
The 18k Gold Pearl Coin Ring
Now, I’ve had moments of unbridled glee when a ring has been placed on my finger (IloveyouP.J.IswearIdo) but, not gonna lie, this one (worth $135) felt straight up decadent and rad and fun. The vintage appeal of the barber’s quarter juxtaposed with the timeless beauty of the (oh-so-shiny) freshwater pearl, surrounded by 18k gold? Drool. I feel like I can cast spells with this thing. Maybe I can.
And then- oh, and then- the good folks at Heidi J. Hale surprised me with this stunning bit of sentimentality:
The Circle of Names Tassel Necklace
Truth time: I’ve wanted a “mother’s” necklace for a really long time, but hadn’t managed to find any that didn’t seem a little, well, saccharine or cheesy or slightly less appealing than an actual, good piece of jewelry.
The sterling silver has a good weight, the tassels are soft, and the inscriptions are subtle. And I realize this shouldn’t be of the foremost importance when choosing an item that represents your offspring, but- it looks really, really cute with tank tops.
Want one?
That’s right, Heidi J. Hale is giving away one of these tasseled beauties (valued at $98!) to a Lollygag Blog reader! (And FYI, this doesn’t have to be a “mama” piece, either. A loved one’s initials or a phrase you dig- heck, even your own name- would be fairly rockstar on this piece as well.)
Visit their website and check out all of the goodies, and then come back and enter the Rafflecopter below! One lucky winner will be showcasing the necklace tout de suite around their own princess castle.
Which they totally deserve.
Especially this month.
Which is shaping up to be downright incredible.
(Good luck!)
