Chicago parents of teensy Littles: I know you know Bubbles Academy (that 14k square foot marvel located in Chi’s Near North ‘hood). I’ve been taking kids there since before I was married. That’s right, I’ve had a longer relationship with them than with P.J. I’ve long extolled their clean, safe, happier-than-happy play spaces and downright adorable classes. Well, now they have CAMP.
Camp Bubbles is primo fun for your 3-5 year-olds (2.5 year-olds are welcomed as well for Camp Bubbles Jr., but if the kiddo isn’t potty trained, caregivers have to stay onsite). And this half day camp really fills out the morning, from art projects to stories, snacks, free play, sports time, and imaginative adventures- and that’s not even including the themed activities for each ridiculously cool week.
Here’s how invested I am in this campaign. Behold what I get to bandy about:

I MEAN, REALLY.
The #createyourownadventure party is simple: spend your summertastic days in and around Chicago, splash in the park, eat corn dogs al fresco, hibernate at the library, and pop in to Bubbles Academy for a class, a camp session, an Open Play, (to grab a cup of coffee outside of the Meadow Room…)- the sky’s the limit, especially with their free valet parking. (That sound you hear is city dwellers gasping in unison.)
Summer should be fluid. And fun. And there are gonna be days where you say “You know what? We’re not getting dressed today.” And still others where you say “I need everyone to leave this house and go learn a marketable skill or at the very least expend a tad bit of energy today.” Hence, #createyourownadventure. Namely, I’ll share ’em and we’ll collectively look like an amazing town in which to reside during June, July, and August. Obviously.)

- Sea Life: 8/03-8/14 Dive into the deep blue sea! Pirate ships, mermaids, and beach parties await you on your voyage across the oceans.
- Once Upon a Time: 8/17-8/28 Jump into the story! Become a wizard, princess, knight, (or creature of your creation) as you journey through the pages of fairy tales, fables and nursery rhymes.
