Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post on behalf of Little Beans Cafe. I was provided a complimentary semi-private party for my secondborn’s birthday, but am not being otherwise compensated. That said, I’d probably still gush about them this effusively because a) I’m a proud brand ambassador and b) I’m downright in love with this place. Carry on.

If you’ve been a reader of the blog for a while- or if you happen to be one of the people I’ve gabbed at in my daily travels- you’ll know that I love Little Beans Play Cafe…and I love being one of their bloggy ambassadors. (Guess who loves it even more? Nora n’ Susannah n’ Jasper.)
And you may also know that Miss Zu has an upcoming birthday. The big 3. A milestone if ever there were one, as long as the only other birthdays you’ve ever celebrated were “1st” and “2nd.”
So she was beyond ecstatic to discover that her Humongous Milestone Birthday was going to be celebrated at Little Beans- with a few of her smallish, equally energetic pals.
I mean, honestly. This place was tailor-made for a gal like Suzy Zu. She is the epitome of PLAY. And so is this space. Climbing, exploring, building, dressing-up, and PLAYING is the name of the game here. The cafe is top notch (and their coffee is rather lovely, as I can easily- and often- attest).
And their birthday parties (and birthday party-signin’-up processes) are a dream. You can choose a private or semi-private party, with any combination of amenities (Food packages? Cupcakes? Goodie bags? Dude.) and help. Need a Bean Buddy or two? Picture that- they provide helpers to keep the shindig swinging- and allow you to actually hang out with your friends who just also happen to have kids. (Magical.) There are also options which allow access to their ice cream shop for partying- which I’m not going to tell Nora about, because there will simply be no living with her. (Or P.J., for that matter.) We’re doing a semi-private party for Zu’s Zoo, meaning we get a lovely room for our party and the kids get the run of the ridiculously wonderful playrooms. Sure, other kids are gonna be around for the fun, but as Susannah thinks of them, they’re just people she absolutely loves whom she hasn’t yet met.
Stay tuned for pictures and stories and the sounds of Susannah’s hilarious and gleeful laughter. Good Lord, this’ll be adorable.
Kind of like a little monkey greeting her animal kingdom.
