It’s Wednesday, friends, and you know what that means! (Namely, my kids are watching the Winnie The Pooh movie for the fifth time!) Also, a round-up.
In Awesome Stuff About Town, Weekly:
The House Theatre (which you either know and love or should know and love) is opening Rose and The Rime, a modern fairytale intended for adults but suitable for kiddos ages 6 and up. This cautionary tale, staged at Chicago’s Chopin Theatre starting January 26th, features acrobatic dance, excellent music, and the witty storytelling I’ve come to adore about The House. Get full deets here– and catch it soon, before they take the run to The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County this April. (Cannot wait to see this one!)
In Awesome Stuff I Wrote, Weekly:
Sunday’s post featured the awesomesauce company TwirlyGirl– and their line of gorgeous (and durable) playclothes dresses…and I’m currently begging them to make a few in a sliiightly larger size. Ahem.
And in case you missed it, Monday’s post was an open letter to Jasper, our favorite one month-old. Here ’tis.
In Awesome Stuff In My House, Weekly:
My friends continue to be fabulous. We’ve had dinner dropped off by my pal Jamie (and yeah, a shoutout should go to the lovelies Renee and Neil and Hillary who fed us right before Jasper was born).
Canadian blogtacular pal Kerstin sent this ridic cute onesie because, and I quote, “Every baby needs something Canadian.”
Also in Canada, also blogtacular (and also a pal), Robin gifted Jasper a sweet set of outfits- some for now, some to grow into. Adorable/brilliant.
And my Malaysian bestie Alison (who’d be a bestie whether she lived in Toledo or Hartford or my ‘hood) sent the second installment of delightful organic snacks from Love With Food (’cause she’s heard I love to snack).
Have a great middle of the week, everyone.
Get yourself a snack.
