For those of you [Americans] not currently going over the river and through the woods to feasts and parties (you know, the local set and/or gargantuanly pregnant)…happy Still Connected To The Internet Day.
Let’s recap what’s been going on in the week of this local and/or gargantuanly pregnant person (still connected to the internet).
It’s Wednesday, And She’s Still Talking About Things:
Sure, it’s not exactly a blog post, but I was recently named a bloggy ambassador to the supra-fun Little Beans Indoor Playground and Family Cafe in the Bucktown neighborhood here in Chicago- and it’s a really, really good time. Clean (and crazy large) playroom, wicked good cafe, and utter fun for the Little Littles. (My gals will attest the same once they stop chattering about the riding ponies. And the dress-up corner. And the slide attached to the miniature firehouse.) Stay tuned, because I’m gonna be offering daily passes and other awesomsauceitude in the near future for these guys. Huzzah!
Also.
On Thursday, I wrote a primer on how to deal when home sick with kids. When you’re sick. (Spoiler: there is no way to deal.)
Friday found me featured over at Families In The Loop- talking about how utterly mean I am to my kids.
By Monday, I definitely wanted more of the frites from my November Date with my darling husband. (And more dates.)
Yesterday, I was lucky enough to work with the illustrious NickMom.com again for a humorous cautionary tale.
And that’s about all I’ve been up to.
Other than (apparently) putting this girl’s costume on incorrectly:
Happy Thanksgiving, all. Have an awesome holiday weekend.
Or Susannah will be utterly disappointed in you.
